The Smikteck blog has been up and running for a few months now, and some of our clients have been asking about the weird and wonderful images accompanying our stories. Here’s the inside scoop.

You know what a computer looks like, right?

We can’t be the only ones bored of seeing the same tired stock images recycled on every technology site. Business person typing at keyboard: yawn. Abstract images of streaming binary code: yawn. Yes, we deal in IT. No, we don’t think you need reminding what that looks like.

We like to think our clients are pretty smart (hey, they chose us, didn’t they?). So, we reckon you can handle some insider tech news and a smokin’ frog, too.

We like to do things a little differently around here

Sure, we could publish a 100% polished blog, complete with professional stock images. After all, we live and breathe technology. The thing is, we like to do IT a little differently around here and we start by asking, “why do we do things this way?”  and “how could we do it better?”

Our team looks for collaborative solutions to problems. We decided to team up with professional artist and creative thinker, Steve Babic. Steve kindly agreed to publish his original artworks alongside our blog. His work is one-of-a-kind, thought-provoking, full of good humour, and likely to bring a smile to your dial. A bit like us, really.
